Orange-color Yemeni agates It is a light shade of color Yemeni Agate red carnelian. Orange agate differs from other types of Yemeni agates (onyx), perhaps with a greater degree of transparency and also less banding. It is a type of chalcedony and is called carnelian. It is a precious stone used in rings, necklaces, rosaries, and other accessories used by men, women, and children. Liver, red and orange agate (onyx) are all considered silica and chalcedony minerals, the color of which is attributed to the presence of iron minerals.
The name (orange) is attributed to the similarity of the color of the stone to the color of oranges. The name given to this type of Yemeni agate may be somewhat relative because the color is gradual and overlapping between the light red Yemeni agate, the apricot color, and then the golden color.
